Mining

Eldoreydo Mining is a full-cycle gold mining company with proven expertise across every stage of the extraction process — from the first drill hole through to refined doré. We operate both open-pit and underground gold mines, deploying the methods and technologies best suited to the geology, scale, and economics of each individual project.

Whether we are advancing a greenfield asset from discovery through to first production, optimising an existing operation to improve recovery and reduce cost, or managing the responsible closure of a mine at the end of its productive life, Eldoreydo Mining applies the same rigour, discipline, and commitment to safety and environmental performance.

Our multidisciplinary teams bring together geologists, mine planning engineers, drill and blast specialists, fleet operators, and metallurgists who work as one integrated unit on site. This structure eliminates interface risk, accelerates decision-making, and ensures that every tonne of ore is handled efficiently from the pit to the plant.

What mining methods does Eldoreydo Mining use?

Eldoreydo Mining operates both open-pit and underground gold mines, selecting the appropriate method based on the depth, geometry, and grade distribution of the orebody. Open-pit mining is used where mineralisation is near-surface and amenable to bulk extraction. Underground methods — including longhole stoping and cut-and-fill — are deployed for deeper, higher-grade deposits where the economics justify the additional development cost. In some projects, a combination of both methods is used to maximise total gold recovery over the mine life.

How does Eldoreydo Mining ensure grade control and ore quality?

Grade control is one of the most critical disciplines in gold mining, and Eldoreydo Mining treats it as a continuous, real-time process rather than a periodic check. Our on-site geologists sample and assay ore at the working face on every shift, using the results to update our geological models and guide excavation decisions. This ensures that only economic material is dispatched to the processing plant, and that waste is correctly classified and directed to the waste dump — protecting recovery rates and plant efficiency.

What is Eldoreydo Mining's approach to mine safety?

Zero harm is not a slogan at Eldoreydo Mining — it is the measurable standard we hold ourselves to on every site, every day. Our safety management systems are built around proactive hazard identification, rigorous pre-start inspections, mandatory stop-work authority for all personnel, and regular safety leadership interactions by site management. Our Total Recordable Injury Frequency Rate (TRIFR) consistently benchmarks in the top quartile of the industry. Every incident — no matter how minor — is investigated, reported, and used to improve our systems.

How does Eldoreydo Mining manage environmental impacts during mining?

Environmental management at Eldoreydo Mining is integrated into operational planning from the earliest stages of a project, not treated as an afterthought. Our ISO 14001-certified environmental management systems cover water management, dust suppression, noise monitoring, waste rock characterisation, tailings storage facility management, and progressive land rehabilitation. We conduct independent environmental audits at all sites on an annual basis and publish our findings as part of our commitment to full transparency with regulators, communities, and investors.
